The lawn opens at 5:00pm for blankets (no plastic tarps please) and picnicking. The films begin at dusk (typically between 8pm and 9pm).

At 5:00pm on the dot, waves and waves of human rockets crash on The Great Lawn to reserve some very coveted spots. Within few minutes, the lush green grass disappear under the multicolored blankets, bags, snacks, books brought by the moviegoers.

PICNIC TIME first, then our cartoons and announced film under the stars !!!

Around 4:45pm, we meet first under the five red & white UMBRELLAS with HSBC The world's local bank / Reading Room BRYANT PARK printed on them. On the North side of the park -facing the GRACE Building(42nd Street).

Bryant Park is situated behind the New York Public Library in midtown Manhattan, between 40th and 42nd Streets & Fifth and Sixth Avenues.

Patrons of Bryant Park are subject to the rules of the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation.
